Varieties Of Baseball Ceiling Fans

When I was growing up I was like every other child, I loved baseball and my dad would always take me to baseball games just so I could try and catch a ball in the outfield.  My bedroom was covered with baseball attire but I could never find the one thing I really wanted, a Baseball Ceiling Fan.  Now that I can actually find them I decided to do some research to find out what is available and the following is what I have come up with.

There are quite a few different designs of the Baseball Ceiling Fan.  Some have baseballs on the blades while others have the light in the shape of a baseball.  Still others have baseball team themes to them.  Not very many companies make a baseball themed fan but the ones that do include Craftmade, Hunter and Westinghouse.  Craftmade and Westinghouse only had one model each but Hunter made a variety of these types of fans.  The model by Westinghouse is a little bit smaller than the other models that came up.  The model by Craftmade is very plain and simple and is all white with a baseball globe.

Hunter created a Baseball Ceiling Fan that was very popular and can be found on many websites to be purchased.  This ceiling fan was designed for the ultimate baseball fan and was suggested to be put in a child's bedroom.  This particular fan is being sold in various stores and on many websites for just under $100 all the way up to about $150.  This Hunter Baseball Fan is Model 23252 and includes a baseball fan motor that looks like leather, a baseball light fixture and blades that are reversible with pine on one side and aluminum on the other.  The blades even look like a real baseball bat.  Also, the part that attaches to the ceiling has an outline that looks like home plate.

Other specifics of the Hunter Baseball Ceiling Fan include a three speed pull chain, four blades and a 44 inch blade span.  Along with just the ceiling fan there are also accessories that can be purchased separately for the baseball fans.  One of those accessories is a baseball key chain to attach to the pull chain that is already on the fan.  If I had a fan like the Hunter fan described when I was younger it would have made my childhood memories of baseball that much better.
